Is this your daily driver or getaway car?
What do you like most about your rig?
On your average weekend adventure, what is the gear set up you bring with you? How did you navigate gear storage needs into your rig set up?
Besides my wife, and three kids( one toddler and two fur babies), we typically bring at least our Blackstone Tabletop Griddle, 20 pounds of propane, four storage containers for cooking, family games, dry food, a YETI 65 Hard Cooler, and a Kelty Loveseat.
How do you integrate gear storage needs into your setup?
There is no navigation, haha. I catch myself each trip finding different ways to pack everything up, like a fun game of Tetris
Any custom details?
The wrap for sure. I’ve had cars in the past with unique one-off wraps and from my last rig I knew I had to step it up. What better way than to hear a few stories of people catching the yeti in the PNW woods?
Coolest place you’ve taken your rig to?
Leavenworth, Washington. We had our first camping trip out in this rig and we fell in love. Looking forward to many more trips out in the area for sure.
Any projects in the pipeline to get your rig even more adventure ready?
We have done a lot to it already—a 2-inch lift, power stop brakes. I'd say probably bigger tires, and in the future making a possible jump from the overland setup to a travel trailer. That was something my dad used to have when I was a kid.Biggest challenge in your build out?
Tips for others looking to do the same to their vehicle?
There's going to be a lot of sweat, and a lot of words that aren't in the English dictionary, but in the end it makes it all worth it, I promise.
