WHAT:  Seattle Small Business Holiday Garage Sale  

WHEN:  Wednesday, Dec 13, 2023, 5-7PM 

WHERE:  HEST Warehouse - 660 S Lucile St. Seattle, WA 98108 

WHO:  HEST, Swift Industries, Ignik, RuxGrayl, MiirRite in the RainSuper Pacific, Georgetown Brewing Co, 1-800-FLOWRS & Food drive for Northwest Harvest

Join us in Georgetown for a Seattle Small Business Holiday Garage Sale at the HEST warehouse! We'll have product demos & sweet deals from HEST, Swift Industries, Rux, Ignik, Rite in the Rain & Grayl. Plus Super Pacific demos, free beer from our neighbors Georgetown Brewing Co, and fresh tunes from DJ 1-800-FLOWRS.


FOOD, BLANKET & WARM CLOTHING DRIVE/ RAFFLE: Bring in acceptable non-perishable items (see list below) to benefit Northwest Harvest and blankets/warm clothing to enter a raffle full of many sweet prizes from our brand partners! Receive raffle tickets for bringing in donation items w/ no limit on the number of donations one person can bring in. Winners for various prizes will be drawn at the end of the event so stick around.

ACCEPTABLE FOOD DRIVE DONATIONS FOR NORTHWEST HARVEST: 

  • Shelf-stable foods that are low in sodium, sugar, and saturated fats. 
  • Meat proteins (canned) 
  • Milk (shelf stable) 
  • Vegetables (canned) 
  • Fruits (canned) 
  • Bread (sealed) 
  • Pop-top canned items 
  • Ready-to-eat foods 
  • Homecare/paper items 
  • Personal hygiene items

ACCEPTABLE BLANKET/WARM CLOTHING DONATIONS FOR REFUGEES: 

  •  Clean blankets 
  • Clean sleeping bags 
  •  Other clean warm bedding 
  • Clean coats & jackets 
  •  Clean warm pants, sweaters 
  •  Clean warm hats, scarves, gloves, etc.

THINGS TO CONSIDER WHEN DECIDING WHAT TO DONATE:

  • Give with respect.Please only donate food items that are unopened and in their original packaging. Do not donate expired, damaged, or partially used food products. For clothing & blankets, please make sure they are clean & in good - excellent condition (no major holes, stains, etc.).
  • Consider the nutrient density of what you are donating. Opt for canned goods packed in water or items that are low sodium or low sugar. 
  • When available, pop-top cans and other easy-open containers help make food more accessible. 
  • Buy donations for your food drive at locally owned and independent grocery stores to support your community! 
  • Avoid glass containers!


In addition to the blanket, warm clothing & non perishable food donations, we will also honor monetary donations to Northwest Harvest for raffle entry. We will provide a donation link at the event, show us your donation receipt for raffle tickets.
