It has been proven time and time again the benefits of nature’s impact on our mind, body and soul. Nature provides an environment and atmosphere to heal, and to connect back to ourselves and loved ones. At HEST, we are honored to partner with the Benchetler Fasani Foundation, a foundation helping to provide a meaningful connection to the outdoors for those who have suffered loss or hardship, by experiencing the healing properties found only in nature.

HEST has teamed up with Chris Benchetler to help create HEST X: Limited Series, a limited edition pillow series surrounding the celebration of collaboration. 10% of proceeds of the limited series HEST x CB Pillow will go to the Benchetler Fasani Foundation.

After experiencing their own hardships and losses due to cancer, pro skier Chris Benchetler  and his wife and pro snowboarder Kimmy Fasani created the Benchetler Fasani Foundation in order to utilize their unique position in the community to help others heal.

Kimmy Fasani was diagnosed with stage 3 inflammatory breast cancer in 2021, where she immediately underwent intensive treatment and chemotherapy.

“As I neared the end of my treatment, which included 6 rounds of chemotherapy, a double mastectomy surgery, and 30 rounds of radiation, I felt the calling of my inner-being back to nature. I was longing to be surrounded by quiet forests, tall mountains, and peaceful lakes. There’s a feeling that those elements bring to our mind and body connection and it’s healing.”

Our friends Chris and Kimmy are now extending their arms to the community, offering programs to connect those who have suffered loss or hardship to the healing properties of nature. If you or someone you care about is in need, please apply for the Benchetler and Fasani Foundation Scholarship Program here.

At HEST, we know firsthand how important spending time in the outdoors is for mental and physical well being. We’re proud to support Chris & Kimmy on their mission to help others connect with mother nature.
