Yes! All pet owners must abide by Big B’s pet policy:

Pets: At Big B’s Delicious Orchards, we love our animals. However, pets must be under control at all times when outside your site, for the safety of other guests and animals. Pets are not allowed in the Orchard Cabins. Aggressive behavior from any pet can result in the pet being asked to leave the park.YOU MUST PICK UP AFTER YOUR PET, failure to do so can result in expulsion from the orchard.

Pets are not allowed on the shuttle for mountain biking or hiking; so if you’d like to bring them please plan on driving your own vehicle to the trailhead.

This year’s camping will be first come, first serve starting at 3pm on Friday, April 26th. You will not be allowed in before 3pm. Please come to the welcome/check-in near the entrance of Big B’s and a HESTIVAL staff member will check you in. There will be no pre-assigned camping spots, but you will be assigned a certain area of the orchard depending on your camping setup/ rig size ( i.e. car, truck, camper, RV, etc.). If you are planning on attending HESTIVAL as a group, we recommend someone from your group checking in at 3pm and saving a spot for your group in the orchard that will accommodate all types of rigs you expect to have within your group.

All Late arrivals must check in at the welcome zone and if no one is attending the booth, please look for signs upon entering the apple orchard for camping information or get in touch with someone from your group. You can pick up your wristband at the welcome zone in the morning.

HESTIVAL is taking place at the beautiful Big B’s Delicious Orchards in between Hotchkiss and Paonia, Colorado. For anyone located in Colorado, we recommend driving as it is rather centrally located in the state on the Western Slope. For anyone looking to fly in for HESTIVAL, we recommend flying into Grand Junction or Montrose, Colorado, which are about 1-1.5 hours’ drive from Big B’s.

All camping gear; shelter ( tent/camper/car), sleeping bag, pad, pillow, headlamp, towel, water bottle, reusable mug and eating utensils are encouraged. Then, any gear for activities like hiking ( water bottle, shoes, rain jacket), biking (road or mountain bike, water, helmet, etc.), trail running (shoes, water) or yoga ( yoga mat)

Yes, we encourage you to bring snacks, drinks and foodas desired. There is a country store and full service cafe at the venue so you can purchase food. There will be a handful of free snacks available throughout the weekend.

The menu for the meals provided by your HESTIVAL Pass will be announced upon arrival, but the meals will be a self-serve buffet where you can customize your plate to avoid any allergies. For severe or deathly allergies please notify mj@hest.com.

HESTIVAL passes are non-refundable, but are transferable if you’d like to give your pass to a friend or family member. Please email mj@hest.com to handle the transfer change.

It’s important for you to fill out the survey HEST sends you after purchasing tickets to tell us what type of rig you’ll be camping in. We have spots for tents, car camping, vans, RV’s, campers, truck bed campers, and under the stars.

We offer rustic camping, meaning there are no hook-ups available. We do have spigots for potable water to fill your tanks in a few locations around the orchard as well as showers and toilets on the property.

You may bring/use a generator but we ask that you please respect quiet hours after 10 pm in the campground.
