The Dually Platform 50 was designed to spec as a premium sleep upgrade for your GFC Standard Platform clamshell camper. This packable portable two person mattress is composed of 4 modular pieces that allow for maximum flexibility in your GFC platform sleep space.

EASY CARRY HANDLE: Grab & go! Each piece includes an easy carry handle for easy transport when setting up or breaking down.

STRETCH MATTRESS COVER: Washable, Stretch Twill Nylon Cover. The memory foam camping mattress has a cover made of stretch nylon twill on the top and a polyurethane coated nylon on the bottom. The top material is moisture wicking and stretches to allow the high-performance foam to contour to different body shapes and sleeping positions, whether you are a front sleeper, back sleeper, or side sleeper. The cover zips off easily for machine washing.

      Night and Day Improvement

      "I have a V2 GFC and the OE mattress was like sleeping on plywood. This mattress (also have the pillows) is worth every penny. Tons of comfort and the transform-a-floor panels still behave. The fabric is super resilient to stains (inadvertently tested with both coffee and bourbon), dusts off easily. I had tried adding a topper to the stock one and it doesn't come close. Similarly to the turbo nap form GFC, while it's an improvement over the original, it's not the Hest. Keep in mind I didn't also buy a turbo - just tried tested out a friends short term. It does take a bit of extra care to close the camper with the added mattress hight (particularly after I added the headliner kit from GFC - I'd skip the headliner if you prioritize faster closure of your camper)."

      "This mattress is an insanely great upgrade from the stock go fast camper mattress, especially considering I have a V2 with the non-turbo nap mattress.       Just do it! Best sleep ever in my GFC

      "Being a side sleeper, I had upgraded my GFC mat 2 different times. First version I added a 2 inch firmer foam to the 1 inch GFC firm foam. It was a slight improvement. The second version I added a 2 inch natual latex foam on top of the 1 inch stiffer foam, but still bottomed out. I tried my friends Turbo Nap and it was a great improvement from all my versions. However, I decideded to take the chance on the Platform 50 since it was 4 inches vs 3 like the Turbo Nap. I can't tell you how happy both my wife and I were with the choice of going with the Hest Platform 50. By far the most comfortable mat out there for the GFC! Even my friends with the Turbo Naps are upgrading as we speak. Great job Hest!!"

      On the fence? I recommend

      "Anyone on the fence about a hest, don’t fret, this thing is really comfy. Ive had the best sleep in the gfc since adding them. Have owned my gfc since aug 2021 and use it at least once a month for trips or work. I came from the stock 2”. With a OSG foam cut out topper. This is way better than that. For my downstairs i had a exped single which id dare say is about equal in comfort. I am around 185lbs and average build, i back and side sleep and its comfy in both positions, no touching the floorboards with my hip bones on my side. Waiting on winter to see how it performs in the cold but so far I am a happy camper. I think my favorite part about it is that it doesn’t affect the transforma floor. If anything it stacks a little thicker when you pile them up in the front, but i can still get them all in pile neatly when i need the whole bed for work or chilling."

      Q&A

      Will you be making a new version for the GFC max?
      Hi Eric! Thanks for reaching out. While we currently don't have plans to make a mattress for the GFC max, we do have some good options for you. For the mid-size version you can either use a Dually Long or 2 Foamys linked together. For the full-size version, we recommend a Foamy and Foamy Wide linked together. Both of these options won't fill the entire length of the camper, but they will cover the width.
      Do you make a sheet set for this, ideally in the cooling version?
      We do not have a sheet currently for the Dually Platform 50.
      How much does it weigh?

      When do you anticipate the dually platform 50 to be back in stock?
      Looks like early October 2024.
      Do you ship to Canada and if not, is there a way to arrange for transportation from the boarder to a location in Canada?
      We currently do not ship to Canada. You can try to see if REI or Backcountry.com will ship for you. They are our biggest retail websites that might have an option.
