Dreaming amongst Big B’s Delicious fruit trees was the most magical part of HESTIVAL! So many awesome HEST Nests and Rigs We Dig nestled in the apple, pear & peach trees.
We were so lucky to get the clear skies and sunny weather over the weekend. Our neighbors in Steamboat and Crested Butte couldn't say the same with their inches of snow! The cooler nights made for some cozy campfire weather & a great kick off to camping season.
It was so fun watching the youngsters run around Big B's over the weekend. From hay bale rides, to face painting, and endless amounts of delicious apple juice - the kids had a blast and were tuckered out by bedtime.
Dancing the nights away to the amazing bands at HESTIVAL 2023 was a memory we won't forget! Mama Lingua & Dragondeer rocked the crowd on Friday night. We got jiggy with Sunny War & The California Honeydrops Saturday night - especially when they brought out the washboard!
Stunt Puppy came in with such a fun activity during HESTIVAL 2023 - SUPing With Your Pup! There is truly no better experience than your dog hanging out on your Stand Up Paddleboard with you- and Stunt Puppy agrees. Wet dogs and happy tails made for a fun filled weekend at the Big B's Pond.
After dancing the nights away - some went to bed, and others stayed up and continued the celebrations around campfires at their own campsites. It was so fun walking around and checking out all the different set ups everyone brought. The s'mores competitions were unmatched!

We learned so much during the Geology Talk with Amy Ellwein, as she dove into the treasure trove of geological wonders!
KĀMA started each morning with slow yoga in the Dreamer Zone between apple trees. After boogie-ing down each night to the awesome live music, recharging and resetting was the best way to start a new day in beautiful Paonia, CO!
Thanks to Big B’s for cooking up fresh, delicious food throughout the weekend and keeping fresh, crisp and refreshing apple cider on tap. The brisket sandwich was a favorite of our team with meat smoked in fruit wood from their trees… drool worthy? You betcha!
