Is this your daily driver or getaway car?
Both when not biking.
On your average weekend adventure, what is the gear set up you bring with you? How did you navigate gear storage needs into your rig set up?
Cascade Vehicle Tent on roof with HEST Dually and all bedding inside. There's a platform that works around the kid seat if she’s there. It allows for camera gear to go in one area while bins go in the other areas. Super easy load in.
Any cool custom details you’re proud of?
I’m just proud that I wanted to do this and I actually did it and it looks the way I had hoped. Dare to dream!
Coolest place you’ve taken your rig to?
I babysat 7 llamas for two 3-day stints in the Grand Staircase this past spring. Storms in the distance, adventure on the horizon, llamas humming throughout the night.
Any projects in the pipeline to get the 4Runner even more adventure ready?
Just needs an awning and we are good!
Biggest challenge in your build out?
I suck at building things but luckily my wife is good at it. Numbers are a tough one for me. I'm better with photos :)
Tips for others looking to do the same to their vehicle?
I used the world wide web for help and it paid off!
