What made you choose a this rig?
On your average weekend adventure, what is the gear set up you bring with you? How did you navigate gear storage needs into your rig set up?
We try to keep it simple but with kids and dogs it’s not the most minimal. We bring chairs and a table that we store in a waterproof luggage carrier on top of the truck. Inside we have all of the essentials like clothes which go under the bed, food which packs in the fridge and cabinets, a container for cookware and kitchen items so we can cook inside or out, a box of firewood, and everything else we need we pack around the table so we can still get to the fridge. We also use our Mule Outfitters flatbed storage for things like the stove, straps, blocks, hoses, tools and outdoor bathroom setup.Any custom details?
We are the second owners of this rig and have to give a shout out to the original owner who built it out.
Can you give us a top highlight overview of your buildout and its key features?
Mule outfitters put an amazing flatbed with storage on then a Woolrich edition 4-Wheel Flatbed camper on top. The truck is lifted with large tires so almost any terrain is accessible and handled easily.
Pairing the Dually Queen with the Dually Extend 78 maximizes the sleeping area in the Flatbed Fleet, making it ideal for couples or solo adventurers who appreciate extra space.
What were your main goals or priorities when designing and building your rig?
We bought it already assembled so a lot of the extra features it has were a bonus. Our main goals were to find a flatbed 4-Wheel Camper we could take anywhere and fit all of us comfortably in any season.

Coolest place you’ve taken your rig to?
We usually head to Utah or the mountains of Colorado. We have to keep the coolest places we have found to ourselves :)
Any projects in the pipeline to get your rig even more adventure ready?
Biggest challenge in your build out?
There are a lot of individual items in the truck so it can be a challenge to troubleshoot if something goes wrong.What products, brands, or upgrades are you most excited about in your rig?
HEST!!! We sleep better camping than at home. I also love the high clearance, the 4-Wheel camper in general and our solar lights.
Tips for others looking to do the same to their vehicle?
Four Wheel camper is an incredible company that builds incredible rigs. They have my full recommendation. We also love our Mule Outfitters flatbed setup. Those guys really know what they are doing and the extra storage space is amazing.
