HESTIVAL Passes include camping, meals/drinks*, demos, live music & activities for the weekend.
HESTIVAL passes include breakfast and dinner on Saturday 4/30, Breakfast on Sunday 5/1, and Big B’s cider will be offered during happy hour on 4/29 and 4/30, Jetboil and Mountain House will be providing camp coffee and food samples both mornings 4/30 and 5/1.
Yes, all kids under 16 are free all weekend long. We will offer a variety of kid-friendly activities throughout the schedule.
Yes! All pet owners must abide by Big B’s pet policy:
Pets: At Big B’s Delicious Orchards, we love our animals. However, pets must be under control at all times when outside your site, for the safety of other guests and animals. Pets are not allowed in the Orchard Cabins. Aggressive behavior from any pet can result in the pet being asked to leave the park.YOU MUST PICK UP AFTER YOUR PET, failure to do so can result in expulsion from the orchard.
Pets are not allowed on the shuttle for mountain biking or hiking; so if you’d like to bring them please plan on driving your own vehicle to the trailhead.
Your camping spot will depend on a.) the completion of your registration formand b.) your time of arrival on 4/29. Camping spots are first come, first serve basis beginning at 3pm on Friday, April 29th. Please come to the welcome/check-in near the entrance of Big B’s and a HESTIVAL staff member will help assign you your camping space.
All Late arrivals must check in at the welcome zone and if no one is attending the booth, please look for signs upon entering the apple orchard for camping assignment.
HESTIVAL is taking place at the beautiful Big B’s Delicious Orchards in between Hotchkiss and Paonia, Colorado. For anyone located in Colorado, we recommend driving as it is rather centrally located in the state on the Western Slope. For anyone looking to fly in for HESTIVAL, we recommend flying into Grand Junction or Montrose, Colorado, which are about 1-1.5 hours’ drive from Big B’s.
All camping gear; shelter ( tent/camper/car), sleeping bag, pad, pillow, headlamp, towel, water bottle, reusable mug and eating utensils are encouraged. Then, any gear for activities like hiking ( water bottle, shoes, rain jacket), biking (road or mountain bike, water, helmet, etc.), trail running (shoes, water) or yoga ( yoga mat)
Yes, we encourage you to bring snacks, drinks and food for dinner on 4/29. There is a country store and full service cafe at the venue so you can purchase food. There will be a handful of free snacks available throughout the weekend.
The menu for the meals provided by your HESTIVAL Pass will be announced upon arrival, but the meals will be a self-serve buffet where you can customize your plate to avoid any allergies. For severe or deathly allergies please notify on your registration form.
Prior to April 15, 2022, all passes are refundable. After April 15th your pass is non-refundable but is transferable if you’d like to give your pass to a friend or family member. Please email email@example.com to handle the transfer change.
It’s important for you to fill out the survey HEST sends you after purchasing tickets to tell us what type of rig you’ll be camping in. We have spots for tents, car camping, vans, RV’s, campers, truck bed campers, and under the stars.
We offer rustic camping, meaning there are no hook-ups available. We do have spigots for potable water to fill your tanks in a few locations around the orchard as well as showers and toilets on the property.
You may bring/use a generator but we ask that you please respect quiet hours after 10 pm in the campground.
A final activity schedule will be printed and available upon HESTIVAL arrival, but here are our activities thus far, subject to change. ** reservations required upon check in :

We will be offering free mountain bike shuttles on the morning of 4/30 to the local trail network in Paonia and then a shuttle will leave mid-morning on 4/30 for a guided geology hike. Space is limited on the free shuttle so reservations will be required prior and upon arriving to HESTIVAL.

Be on the lookout for an email to make a reservation prior to arriving to HESTIVAL, open spaces available can be filled upon arrival to HESTIVAL
We are thrilled to offer a killer live music lineup. All music is free and open to the general public. HESTIVAL passes are an all-weekend inclusive pass for everything outside of the live music: camping, food, drink, demos, activities, etc.
Yes, HEST and a handful of brand partners will have demos and product for sale.
